From summer BBQ’s, to spring picnics, and even fall harvest festivals, lemonade is perfect for any occasion, anytime of the year! When I think of the perfect, classic lemonade, I think of Country Time!
I grew up drinking Country Time, but now that I’m a mother, I worry about the sugar content in the drinks I purchase for my family. When I had the opportunity to recently review Country Time, I was very happy to discover that Country Time has 40% less sugar than the leading regular sodas! Also, Country Time lemonade is Gluten and Caffeine free, another bonus for our children.
Last week, Makenna and I spent some alone time together to bake muffins, make some Country Time lemonade, and bond! We had a lot of fun and since it’s so easy to make, Makenna really enjoyed helping and feeling like a big kid!
We made the lemonade as directed and found we just had to add a tad bit more powder to have it taste exactly as Kenna and I liked. That might be because I added a bit more water than directed. Regardless, our finished product was delicious, and was a wonderful substitute for tea at our indoor tea party/picnic that afternoon!
