I am really gearing up for our upcoming cruise. Aside from losing these few extra pounds to fit into specific dresses, I have also started browsing for the perfect accessories to compliment my formal wear. I love to support handmade shops and designers. I think it’s great to give them business, and often, their work is the same, if not better, than any corporate company. This was especially true when I found Kristin Noel Des igns on Etsy!

Kristin Noel (formerly Sea Babe) takes pride in her handmade jewelery line that focuses not only on fashion, but quality as well. Every piece she offers in her Etsy shop is handmade by her! Although she always tries to keep her designs fresh and current, her main goal is outstanding craftsmanship and customer service. Using reclaimed gold and silver, and genuine gemstones in her pieces the result is as eco-friendly as possible and just exquisite!

I loved so many of her different pieces, such as this Smokey Topaz Trillion Cut Gemstone Chain Necklace shown above, that deciding on a favorite was a difficult task! If you happen to love more color in your pieces, Kristin Noel has plenty of choices available for you too. How about this Mandarin Orange Garnet and Natural African Amethyst necklace below? Something of that style would add the perfect pop of color to a neutral colored ensemble.

When Kristin suggested a gorgeous pair of Hammered Gold Pink Pearl Hoop Earrings I immediately swooned and pictured them accenting my coral gown! Perfect! These earrings are made with 12mm pink shell pearls on hand hammered on 14/20 gold filled earwire. Although available in a variety of pearl colors, I knew these as shown, was the exact color I needed for my gown.

When my earrings arrived, I expected them to be quite delicate being made of earwire, however, I was wrong. The wire is sturdy and wouldn’t be easily breakable. I tried them on and immediately loved them! The pearls were shiny but not overwhelming. A very feminine touch, especially for a girl covered in tattoos like myself! These looked amazing on and I can not wait to wear them during my formal night!
