A good night’s rest is very important. It’s detrimental to your health and well being. It’s also known to help with illness and weight loss. I personally require at least 8hrs of sleep per night so I am not grumpy or zombie like the next day. An essential part of achieving that perfect rest is the right mattress, bedding, and pillows. The information he had learned while working at a futon company hadn’t helped, and he decided to create a mattress company that offered a new level of quality and service. The main Savvy Rest mission was to create an organic mattress that was comfortable, non toxic, versatile and reliable. They decided on natural latex for the core of their signature mattress and added the option of customizable layers to make the mattress comfortable for everyone, regardless of their tastes. The mattress casing would be organic wool and organic cotton to be soft yet sturdy. The unique natural latex mattress was born and so was a higher level of quality, integrity, and service! Their motto is simply: Purity. Comfort. Integrity. Value. Four words that are so basic, but hold so much meaning!
That was some time ago, and since then Savvy Rest has grown from just a few retailers to a large network of dealers. Their product line has also grown considerably! Savvy Rest now carries organic bedding, organic crib mattresses, organic mattress toppers, and organic pillows. Although Savvy Rest has grown, their standard of superb customer service has not changed a bit.
We were sent a Savvy Rest Shredded Latex Pillow to review and I was excited! The very first thing I noticed about my new pillow was that it was heavy but soft too. You wouldn’t usually think those two adjectives could go together to describe one pillow, but they did. The soft shredded latex is used to support your neck and shoulders while you sleep, but the pillow intentionally arrives overstuffed so you can remove any amount of filling you’d like to create a pillow with perfect height and density for YOU!
I personally like flatter pillows, so I removed a considerable amount of filling from my Savvy Rest pillow. It emptied easily and still gave my excellent support after I had created my “personalized” pillow! I can definitely tell that the quality of this pillow far surpasses the average pillows I am used to buying, and it’s sure to be around for much longer as well!
