As parents we face many different challenges with our children along the way. Some of us go through a tantrum phase with our kids. Others experience talking back or inappropriate language. Written by Nancy Goodell, a special education teacher, dance/movement therapist, school director, mother and grandmother and Ann Garrett, who has worked with frazzled kids in residential treatment for over thirty years, TLC For Frazzled Kids brings you a unique method and suggestions for dealing with outbursts and behaviors. Bringing you an effective, step by step method that can be practiced during calm times, which becomes routine during challenging situations. As a result kids develop coping strategies that are good for a lifetime! These wonderful authors, as well as this book, is committed to support those of us who are looking for positive ways to interact with children, and honestly. who isn’t?

I received a copy of TLC For Frazzled Kids to read and review and let me say, this book has become a bible of sorts for me. Having three children, in three different phases of development is no easy task, especially when all three children are different. Our oldest, Kenna, is going through a vulnerable phase where she feels the need to be accepted and belong. Our middle child, Maddie, is experiencing a bit of back talk, telling us No, and asking “why” and “how come” for every thing she is asked to do. Also, our baby, Bub, is into a slight tantrum phase, sometimes even out in public, which I never experienced with our daughters.

I will admit, I’m often not the most patient person or mother. This wonderful book focuses on all of these issues and more, and has greatly helped me deal with these in a more positive manner instead of yelling or losing control myself. I am so happy to have had this opportunity and urge you as parents to not only try to win a copy with this giveaway, but to purchase this book.
