Everyone sends greeting cards for so many different occasions. There’s cards for the common events like birthdays, anniversaries, and special popular holidays. There are even cards for the not so common events too. Regardless of the occasion, greeting cards tend to look the same. They’re either funny or mushy, and most of the time, not original. Chirply is changing that!

Chirply is a community of artists and designers that want to make better stuff through better design. People submit designs (it’s free to do so and you could win $300 per winning design!) the Chirply community votes on the submitted designs and the winners are made into things we use so often such as greeting cards, notebooks, and wrapping paper. These are not your grandmother’s greeting cards and the designs are unique, funky, and fun!

Shopping on Chirply is easy, as their products are divided into easy to browse categories. Their designs are hilarious and super unique, which you all know I love. The design pictured above, Radtown USA, is my ultimate favorite and far surpasses the usual “Wish you were here” or “I miss you” greeting card you’d find available via the popular card brands.

Choosing the cards I wanted to review was a blast. There were a lot of designs that were up my alley and it was fun to see the submissions that I could vote for and then buy as cards as well.  I was extremely impressed with the cards when I received them. They all came individually wrapped in clear protective plastic with envelope, along with a Chirply business card so you know not only that your card will be protected, but that it will stay safe if you’re like me and hoard cards until an occasion arises! The card quality was outstanding. They are made of very high quality type card stock, durable, and even the envelope quality is upscale. I used my O’er The Mountains Chirply card to give to Makenna’s teacher as a thank you card since she was so understanding about our family vacation during school time and excused Kenna from all homework and most classwork. I loved how the card was blank so it wasn’t a typical thank you card and I was able to personalize my message. The card, along with a Disney Princess mug, was a huge hit and her wonderful teacher loved them both!
