Regardless of what region we live in, we all have some kind of pests to deal with. Here in Las Vegas, the summertime is when the dreadful bugs show their heads and I am one person who does not do well with bugs near, let alone in, my home. Although we have a professional pest control guy come spray our house monthly, I never feel as if I can be protected enough. The more barriers, the better. We were sent some Talstar Insecticide, a multi insecticide that is one of the most trusted and widely-used insecticides by pest control professionals today. Talstar has a long residual, so it keeps on killing pests for over three months after you’ve sprayed it. Plus, Talstar One is odorless, dries clear, leaves no stains, is non-irritating to the skin, and won’t break down easily with rainfall. I do wish that DoMyOwnPestControl would have sent a sprayer along with the Talstar, because it’s a bit hard to use without one. In fact, I can’t use it unless I have a sprayer according to the website.

We were also sent some Roundup QuickPro for our weeds that are sure to grow in our backyard throughout the year. QuikPro controls broadleaf and grass weeds, or woody brush and trees – roots and all. Roundup Quick Pro is absorbed quickly by plants and is rain fast in about an hour. This super-fast dry time means rain won’t wash the product away as easily and it works much faster than typical glyphosphate products. The small packs included can be mixes to make a gallon of spray solution. I plan to buy a big spray bottle to use with this and because our Vegas yard is small, these packs should last for a LONG time to come!
