As someone who is actively trying to lose my last few extra pounds, I know that eating breakfast is essential to jump start my daily metabolism. It is sometimes a struggle for me to eat in the morning, but I push myself and have a small breakfast. Since I am using calorie counting and exercise as my method to promote weight loss, monitoring my calorie intake is a must for me. I track everything I eat and I always try (keyword try) to be careful of my choices so I don’t go over my daily limit.
Fiber One has done it again by creating their 80 Calories cereal! Each crunchy wheat and corn puff square in every bowl of Fiber One 80 Calories cereal has a light honey flavor – a delicious way to start your day. It’s more than just yummy though, Fiber One 80 Calories cereal has 40 percent of the Daily Value of fiber in one 80 calorie serving, so it can help curb your hunger, which can help you stick to your weight loss plan!
I received my own box of Fiber One 80 Calories cereal to try, along with a pedometer with USB connector to track all of the walking I do and an Ipod/smartphone holder with arm strap so I can listen to my motivational tunes while I exercise. The cereal is actually very yummy and does not taste like it’s high in fiber or like it’s “good for you”. I usually eat my cereal as an evening snack with fat free milk or almond milk , which just complimented the flavor of the Fiber One. I usually have a fiber bar (not necessarily Fiber One) with yogurt and or fruit. It will keep me till lunchtime as long as I drink enough water.

Uhhh…do I have to tell the truth about my breakfast? Most days it is coffee. Yep, that’s it. Once in a while I have toast. But I am never really hungry until lunch time, so…I guess it keeps me full!

I have whole grain cereal and fresh fruit and it satisfies me until the next meal.

My usual breakfast is pancakes. Nothing really keeps me full for too long…I have a good metabolism. I do like to snack on cereal between meals though.
