I have a thing when it comes to going back to my childhood. Majority of my down time from ages 8 through 11 was spent playing on my Nintendo, my first gaming system, which I was a tad obsessed with. I spent hours on Super Mario Bros. trying to conquer Koopa and later went on to play as Link in Legend Of Zelda while tackling quests for the first time. I miss it often but thanks to our Nintendo Wii, I’ve downloaded those same old school games to play again, this time, with my children!

For my review piece I had to have an infamous Mario 1up mushroom. After all, I have one tattooed behind my ear (because no one can ever 1up me) so wearing one is just an added bonus. Otaku Express also created a cherry and a Mar charm to make my bracelet even more personal. I loved it and since it’s original and one of a kind, I love it even more. It’s a perfect piece to wear on a relaxed dress down kind of day and even as a mom, I’ve been rocking the heck out of it. With the holidays around the corner an Otaku Express piece would be perfect for any anime or video game lover in your life and make a great stocking stuffer. I also have to mention how much I loved the customer service and interaction I received with Otaku Express. All of my questions were answered and emails were always received promptly. For a company that’s being totally run by two sisters, they’re doing a remarkable job of both the customer service and design ends of this small store!
