I recently received my second campaign since becoming a part of the Chicken Soup for the Soul blogger network. Even after reading so many different versions over the years, I still love the touching, heartfelt stories I read in these fabulous books, regardless if I can relate or not. There’s just something about hearing the inspiring success stories of others that puts a smile on my face.

Obviously I’m not over 60 however I’m saving this Chicken Soup for the Soul book for about a month, when my papa’s girlfriend Maria will celebrate another birthday. I’m not sure of her exact age, but my papa will be turning 79 the day after her. This will make a perfect gift for her and for any grandparent or new retiree! It’s a wonderful way to show our seniors that life certainly doesn’t have to end or even die down as you get older.
