Plagentra Mom/Baby Skin Care Review & Giveaway (12/2)

by Marcie on November 11, 2011

As a mom who has had three babies, all rather large, I have the permanent trophies from my experience. No, I’m not referring to my kids, I’m talking about stretch marks. They’re no fun and if you get them, you have them for life…. or do you? Although mine have gradually faded over time and are now opaque and white, they’re still there. It’s obvious that my perfectly flawless flat belly is no more but if there’s any possible way that I can fade them out or even get rid of them, I’ll try it.

Plagentra is a series developed by CA Pharm and for over 10 years they have helped thousands of moms and babies in Asia and Europe. Their unique system consists of specially designed products to relieve common skin care issues such as stretch marks, eczema, and acne. Unlike other product lines, Plagentra includes an entire skin and body care system, from lotions to soaps, oils to creams, to allow consumers to customize their overall experience based on need and desire!

The CA Pharm products have won numerous awards including number one mom/baby product line and number one stretch mark cream, both in Korea. They’ve also won 2011 best luxury skin care line from Korean Governments Department of Ministry of Women and Family. In case you’re wondering how this matters in the US, you’ll find that MANY products available in Europe and Asia work far better than those in the US and to get them approved by the American FDA is a waiting game. Also, I personally feel like people of Asian decent have amazing skin and age so wonderfully. Could some of the Plagentra products be to blame? I sure hope so!

I was sent some Plagentra Mother’s BB Cream and Plagentra Stretch Oil to review. The stretch mark oil is safe before, during, or after pregnancy, effective for dry skin, and contains coconut oil, jojoba oil, and camellia oil. I started using the Plagentra stretch mark oil each day after my shower. I would rub the oil into my belly and love handle area and although it’s oil, it isn’t greasy so it didn’t ruin my clothes. It soaked into my skin instead. After using this a few weeks I don’t see a miracle, but I might see some fading on my sides. I did not sit and massage the oil for 5-10 minutes as recommended though. It was more like 2-3 minutes for me, so perhaps that’s part of my small results. At any rate, my skin did feel more moisturized, which is always a great thing.

The Plagentra Mother’s BB Cream contains all natural ingredients and serves a variety of facial needs. It’s hypoallergenic formula is known to soothe sensitive dry skin and created flawless coverage so users need little to no makeup. Made from items like shea butter, calendula, and more, the Mother’s BB Cream also offers a natural non chemical sunblock for your face. Although I am not expecting, I absolutely LOVED the BB Cream. As I have mentioned a few times before I do not have the clearest skin. The BB Cream is a wonderful alternative for me to hide some breakouts without having to do a face full of foundation. This is what I’d prefer most days and until discovering the Plagentra BB Cream, it certainly wasn’t an option. I am a true fan now!
