Monkey Brains Review & Giveaway (12/6)

by Marcie on November 17, 2011

Last spring I was introduced to a fabulous company specializing in tween hair care products. At that time I had never seen them in stores and was unfamiliar with their line and how it worked. Here we are about seven months later and Monkey Brains is becoming well known! I see it available on shelves in the stores I frequent and with their outstanding product names like Gone Bananas Hair Refresher and banana shaped bottles, how could you miss them?

Since that review I HAVE to admit that my husband used the rest of the Monkey Brains pomade that we received back in April. It took him awhile to grow his hair out into a fabulous slicked back greaser look complete with sideburns for our Rockabilly themed vow renewal. During the process he relied on Monkey Brains to manage his ‘do and keep it looking well kept while at work. He loved the way the product worked, enjoyed the scent and also was very appreciative that it didn’t leave his hands, head, or clothes sticky.

The wonderful folks at Monkey Brains know that the holidays are a time for a lot of picture taking, parties, family dinners and more. They also know that it means a lot to tween aged children to look their best, and their parents also want to have their kiddos looking great too. That’s why their back here on Obviously MARvelous to refresh your memory about their fun hair care line, as well as keep your children’s hair fresh as well!

My girls literally went bananas when our fun Monkey Brains Goop Out Shampoo and Super Softy Conditioner arrived. Granted, I don’t have tweens yet, but I sure do have two girly girls who, if allowed, will spend a ridiculous amount of time on their hair and accessories. The awesome Goop Out Shampoo is a clarifying shampoo that easily strips the hair of all the built up styling products that your child might use on a daily basis. It will leave hair feeling clean but it’s still gentle. The Super Softy Conditioner is perfect for after shampoo use. If you children don’t use a conditioner yet, I personally highly recommend it. One of my daughters have thinner, curly hair. The other has super thick, straight hair. A conditioner is a must for both and I love the way the Monkey Brains one smells and works!

Buy It
You can purchase any of the Monkey Brains hair care collection for $3.99 each. Products are available at Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger, Food 4 Less and Ralph’s. Also you can go to the Monkey Brains website and use their store locator to find the closest retailer near you!

Win It
Monkey Brains has generously offered 1 lucky Obviously MARvelous
reader a Goop Out Shampoo and Super Softy Conditioner of their own!
