My Memories Suite Scrapbooking Software Review & Giveaway (12/16) *PLUS BIG ANNOUNCEMENT*

by Marcie on November 26, 2011

I am a big time photo taker but if you’re one of my loyal readers or personal friends, you probably already knew that. I honestly feel that as the years pass the only thing that remains are pictures of life and memories. A few years back my good friend Claudia kept pushing me to get into scrapbooking. She gave me a TON of items to get started and I really got into the process. It was a wonderful creative outlet for me and I started making my kids precious books filled with photos and memories that they could cherish forever. I bought even more scrapbooking supplies including a Cricut machine and cartridges. Then came Obviously MARvelous, which stole my time away from my desk and crafts and put it into the computer and this site. I don’t mind because this blog is my passion, but I do miss creating everlasting precious keepsakes for my kids.

That was until I was introduced to My Memories Suite, digital scrapbooking software that allows me to make amazing scrapbook pages and albums all directly from my computer! With over 1,500 papers, over 1,000 page elements and over 30 album templates it’s not a surprise that My Memories Suite is the #1 rated digital scrapbook software! Choose to build a page from scratch or select one of the many pre-designed templates to create just a page or an entire album. Many templates are included with your My Memories Suite software with even more available for free or purchase on the My Memories site. With even more ways to customize, the creative possibilities are limitless!

I have never tried any kind of scrapbook software however I know a few bloggers who use templates for blog designs and I have had friends that digitally scrapbook. I was nervous to try out My Memories Suite because although I can blog, I am nothing close to a web designer or anything of the sort. In fact, I’m pretty technically dull in general, although I’d like to think my creativity is always flowing. I sat down, opened the digital scrapbook software and got to work. Not only was it easy as promised, but it was fun! I had a great time browsing through the different themes, embellishments, text fonts, colors, and more. I spent about twenty minutes zoned in on all of the options before me and became familiar with the software itself, but it was far from time wasted. During this time I debated on what my first page should be and then came my idea. You see, I have an announcement to share with you all, and figured this would be a spectacular way to do so!

Here is my first page made with My Memories Suite V2 software:

That’s right, my little sister is expecting and I could not be more ecstatic to share this with all of you! If you are one of my “loyals” (thanks Kim from Shop With Me Mama for that term) you know that I have waited for this for quite some time and have been excited to become an aunt. I have affectionately nicknamed the baby “Baby B” and can not wait to share my sister’s pregnancy as well as my journey into “Aunthood” with you all!

I loved my first ever results with My Memories Suite software! I can not wait to create my first album and am excited to get even more templates and embellishments soon. This would make an amazing gift for the scrapbooker or craft lover that truly seems to have everything! After all, everything is going digital these days. Movies, music, photos, books, and more, so why not make the transition to digital scrapbooking software as well!

You can purchase My Memories Suite V2 online directly from the My Memories website for $39.97. You have the option to download the software directly to your computer or have it shipped to your home.
