A good night’s rest is a must for me! Now that my children are older I am finally enjoying a full night’s sleep again and I am the first to admit I need at least 8 hours each evening to be functioning the next day. We have an amazing memory foam mattress that we’ve had for 5 years. Hubs feels we need a new one, while I spend the three precious minutes awake before falling victim to our bed’s sleep monster being grateful for sleeping on a cloud.

Thankfully Dormia has thought of everything, even beyond memory foam and latex mattresses. They also supply consumers with adjustable beds, memory foam toppers, and a variety of pillows as well. When I learned this I thought about our own pillows. I prefer a very flat pillow. So much so that I might as well almost not use one at all. My husband isn’t the same at all and usually uses two pillows to obtain his ideal height. We do both love the pillows that we own and thought they were all we needed until we had the opportunity to review Dormia Conforma pillows.
Our Dormia Conforma pillows arrived perfectly packaged in a handy little carry bag as shown above. Before we had even had a chance to remove them from their packaging I was surprised at how large they were. They are definitely bigger than a standard pillow! Once we had removed them from their packages I noticed they come with a velvet like, soft, smooth zipper cover to protect your pillow. I was a tad apprehensive since I usually like a flat pillow when I sleep. These memory foam pillows aren’t flat and since I’ve never tried one before I was curious as to if I’d be able to sleep with it. I am so happy to announce that despite our differences in pillow preferences, both my husband & I are in LOVE with our Dormia Pillows! It’s as if I am resting my head on a cloud as it contours perfectly to my head and neck. Regardless of my movement or shifting throughout the night, the Conforma pillow instantly does exactly what it’s name proclaims: conforms!
I do have to mention that I noticed a bit of a chemical-ish smell with our pillows. I did was the velour covers but still smell the scent. My husband thinks I’m crazy as he doesn’t smell anything odd, but I have a huge schnozz and it’s pretty sensitive, so I had to include this fact in this review to make other sensitive sniffers aware, just in case you should pick this up as well. I do plan to email Dormia and ask if the visco-elastic memory foam used in the Conforma pillows could cause this and if so, how they can be cleaned. I am sure they will have an easy solution for me and I am happy to be able to now have 100% total comfort each night, even though prior to this, I didn’t know exactly how much I was missing!
