Aerobie Megatop Review & Giveaway (1/30)

I love being, what I feel at this point, is an official Aerobie product reviewer. I have had the privilege to work with this company three times and all three of those experiences were not only fun, but contained products that are still used quite often in our family. We reviewed the Aerobie Skylighter in September. Now affectionately known as “flippity flip” here in our house, hubs passes the Skylighter outside with the kids about once a week. I received the Aerobie Aeropress in November and it has made my mornings magic ever since. I have never had such wonderful cups of coffee and couldn’t imagine my life without it now!

This time we were contacted to review the Aerobie Megatop, a fun twist on an old school spinning top toy, only modernized and advanced. This awesome top is perimeter weighted and precision crafted for amazingly long spins, up to 3000+ RPM spin rates, so that you can have more fun and less work.I love that it contains a spin booster to keep the spin continuous and the catching plate so you can learn catching, throwing, and balancing tricks.

When we received our Aerobie Megatop and I was worried I wouldn’t know how to work it. We waited for hubs to try it out and luckily, my handy guy knew exactly what to do right away. No instructions or video needed. Once we were able to try out the Megatop the kids got the biggest kick out of how fast it went and how long it stayed spinning. Like other Aerobie products we’ve tried, it’s also super durable. We can let it go strongly on our tile floor and it comes out without a scratch. Our dog Harvey loves to play fetch, so to see him try and “grab” the spinning top was hilarious. Odd fun fact: My husband knows a LOT of YoYo tricks. He’s pretty darn awesome at it. I do plan to show him the types of tricks that can be learned with the Aerobie Megatop so perhaps he can master this as well and even make a video. If this does happen, I will certainly share it here!
