Noodle & Boo Review & Giveaway (2/7)

by Marcie on January 16, 2012

Did you know that 97% of moms will get stretch marks? Unfortunately I was included in that percentage of marked mamas, but that doesn’t have to be the case. There are products out there to stop stretch marks before they start and caring companies to help with these and other common pregnancy problems as well as allow you to do so luxuriously.

Noodle & Boo was founded when mother Christine Burger needed products for her children’s ultra sensitive skin. She worked with professionals to develop a nourishing, replenishing and protecting delicate and sensitive skin, both for mother and baby. After committing herself to the highest quality products using only the finest ingredients, Noodle & Boo, named for each of her sons, was born! Today you can rest easy knowing all of the Noodle & Boo products are FDA approved, certified organic, hypoallergenic, clinically and pediatrician tested and made right here in the USA.

Carrying two main product lines, one for mama and one for baby, Noodle & Boo is stocked with yummy smelling yet still perfect for sensitive skin products like Bouncing Baby Bubbles, Ultimate Ointment, Pregnancy Firming Gel, bamboo towels, gift sets, candles and even adorable plush toys. Their Derm RX line specializes in healing common skin conditions such as diaper rash, eczema, and even swollen ankles during pregnancy. A cool added bonus is that you receive complimentary samples with every order to smell, feel and try other Noodle & Boo products along with the one you just ordered.

When we received our Noodle & Boo Elasticity Oil and the first thing I noticed was the packaging and logo design. I just adore the clean yet elegant look of Noodle & Boo products! Perhaps it’s the black/pink combo, something I’ve always been fond of, but I feel it looks wonderful! The pregnancy stretch marks oil itself has a very light vanilla type smell and is said to have a touch of honey in it, which could be the scent itself. The oil is indeed, oil, and has the feeling of baby oil, which is exactly what works! Since my sister is only 19 weeks pregnant, I can not say one way or the other if this truly prevented stretch marks from forming. I’m currently bugging her to use this TWICE a day to prevent stretch marks or she’ll spend the rest of her life wishing she had. I can certainly adhere to that!

Ack! My copy+paste of the product name didn’t go through! I’m expecting baby #1 and AfterGlow Gel seems like it would be an awesome product to try. Though their whole line of products sound interesting!
