Product Review and Giveaway Policy

My family and I welcome a wide variety of products, websites, companies, and services to review. We enjoy reviewing and the entire process as much as I enjoy informing my readers and personal friends of fun, exciting products and companies.

I pride myself in treating each and every company as if they are the only company in the world, dedicating my full time and effort to create a well written, thorough review including background information on the product and company as well as my personal review. In most situations I do not require any monetary compensation to review your product, however, I do require a standard, full size sample of the product, at least $20 in value, that I am reviewing or a product from the company I will be writing about. This not only allows me to do an actual review but is in lieu of payment as this is a form of advertising. The sample is for me to keep and will be shipped at the company or PR agencies expense. If I receive anything smaller than a full size sample without having discussed and arranged anything prior, I will still keep the sample yet am under no obligation to complete and post a review.

At this time I do NOT review books other than children’s genre, ebooks or apps unless additional monetary compensation is provided.

If you would like to add a giveaway opportunity for my readers please let me know along with your email inquiry. While this is optional and I do many review only posts I find a giveaway will provide more traffic and exposure to a particular product or website. After all, who doesn’t like the idea of a freebie?

As you can see from viewing any of my previous giveaways via my Winner’s List I have a standard format and requirements I use when posting my giveaways such as having my readers visit your website, like you on Facebook and follow you on Twitter. If you have any different or specific requests that you would like to have as an entry option, please let me know along with your email inquiry.

*Please Note* I require you, the sponsoring company or PR agency, to ship the giveaway winner’s prize directly to the winner. I will not ship giveaway prizes unless previously agreed and I receive a pre-postage paid sticker or envelope.

My turn around time from receiving the product sample to posting the giveaway is 2 weeks at the very MAX. While I could get more posts finished at a faster pace, I refuse to sacrifice quality! My giveaways generally run for 3-4 weeks and then a winner is drawn via random.org and they have 48 hours to respond to my email to claim their prize or a new winner will be drawn. I will then forward their information directly to you so that their prize can be emailed or shipped.

I enjoy doing sponsored posts and accept posts that are pre-written as well as original posts I write myself. All options include up to 3 links of your choice. Posts remain indexed on Obviously MARvelous – they do not expire and all will be sent out via Twitter and Facebook upon publication. Please email me for rates and post options
